The 2016 Furry Scurry was at Washington Park this past Saturday, May 7.  Once again, the joint InVINtions, A Creative Winery/Tipton Law Firm Team came out to the event this year with an even larger team than last year’s record setting group.  To date, the team is 153 members strong, and has raised over $45,000.00 for the Dumb Friends’ League. Fundraising continues through June 2, so if you have not already donated, please consider a donation to the InVINtions, A Creative Winery/Tipton Law Firm Team in support of the League. The 2016 team included a wonderfully large mix of patrons of the winery and the law firm, and each and every one of them made a unique and very needed contribution to support the League.  Team building and fundraising efforts started last December, and once again, this year the numbers and turn-out were even greater than in 2015.  Starting seven years ago with just 33 members, and $8,000.00 to 134 members and over $42,000.00 raised in 2014.  InVINtions, A Creative Winery Tasting Room Ambassador, Paige Jaster, said of this year’s efforts, “this was my first Furry Scurry experience, and I cannot believe the momentum and drive this Team has; I’ve never been a part of anything like this; it was fun and inspirational!”  As in all the previous years, the Law Firm opened its private wine cellars to provide some great incentive items to its participants over the age of 21.  Check out the photos from the event here!
