Nevada and Delaware Enter Into Interstate Online Gaming Compact
26 Feb 2014, by Gaming Law inNevada and Delaware have entered into the first interstate gaming compact. This agreement currently permits online poker players in the two states to play together. The historic agreement permits the expansion into more games, if each member state permits, and also allows for other states to join upon approval. This agreement will likely weigh heavily in the considerations of other states currently contemplating internet gaming, as it provides the possibility of utilizing other states’ expertise in regulation and provides a larger player base for all operators.
