What to Watch: AB Inbev Attempting to Save Deal with Modelo
15 Feb 2013, by in Liquor LawIn an attempt to save its deal with Modelo despite the US Department of Justice’s concerns, AB Inbev, through Modello has agreed to divest interest in distribution of Corona and other Modelo brands in the US. This change should go a long way to alleviate the Department’s trepidation as it will no longer give AB Inbev control over 46% of the beer market in the US.
