The push for regulated online gaming in the US continues its march forward. However, Senator Harry Reid’s (D-Nev) proposed bill would essentially limit online gaming to poker. As several states currently run online lotteries, and several more looking to expand into this market, the fight over the expanse of Reid’s bill is expected to continue. The following article briefly explains the mobilization of the North American Association of State and Provincial Lotteries and National Association of Convenience Stores and their arguments on the proposed bill.
